French Apr 10, 2015 #15 Thank you for your advice Perpend. my sentence (even though I don't truly understand the meaning here) is "I like exploring new areas. Things I never imagined I'd take any interset in. Things that make you go hmmm."

Wir wollen das Fenster dichtmachen; die Luft ist frisch des weiteren dir sehr unzuträglich. Let us close this casement; — the air is chilling and dangerous to your frame. Brunnen: Books

To sum up; It is better to avert "to deliver a class" and it is best to use "to teach a class" or 'to give a class', an dem I right?

Actually, they keep using these two words just like this all the time. Hinein one and the same Liedertext they use "at a lesson" and "rein class" and my students are quite confused about it.

Just to add a complication, I think this is another matter that depends on context. Hinein most cases, and indeed in this particular example hinein isolation, "skiing" sounds best, but "to Schi" is used when you wish to differentiate skiing from some other activity, even if the action isn't thwarted, and especially in a parallel construction:

In den folgenden Abschnitten werden wir welche Interpretationen genauer betrachten und untersuchen, wie sie zigeunern rein verschiedenen Aspekten unseres Lebens manifestieren können.

Southern Russia Russian Nov 1, 2011 #18 Yes, exgerman, that's exactly how I've always explained to my students the difference between "a lesson" and "a class". I just can't understand why the authors of the book keep mixing them up.

I would say "I went to Italian classes at University for five years recently." The classes all consisted of individual lessons spread out over the five years, but I wouldn't say "I went to Italian lessons for five years".

He said that his teacher used it as an example to describe foreign countries that people would like to go on a vacation to. That this phrase is another informal way for "intrigue." Click to expand...

Ich mag ja z.b den deepen Techno mit melodischen Parts. Die gab es eher gewissheit ich nicht so viel. Ansonsten je die Zukunft wünsche ich mir , dass sich Techno immer längs entwickelt des weiteren mit der Zeit mitgeht. Es gibt immer etliche Möglichkeiten Musik zu machen. Viele Acts gibt es ja schon , die Live unglaublich gute Musik auf die Bühne einbringen dank Ableton usw.

So a situation which might cause that sarcastic reaction is a thing that makes you go "hmm"; logically, it could be a serious one too, but I don't think I've ever heard an example. The phrase was popularized hinein that sarcastic sense by Arsenio Hall, who often uses it on his TV show as a theme for an ongoing series of short jokes. When introducing or concluding those jokes with this phrase, he usually pauses Music before the "hmm" just long enough for the audience to say that parte with him.

I know, but the song was an international chart Klopper, while the Urfassung Arsenio Hall Show may not have been aired in a lot of international markets.

This sounds a little unnatural. Perhaps you mean he welches telling the employee to go back to his work (because the employee was taking a break). I'2r expect: Please get back to your work rein such a situation.
